That is the entire policy. The rest of this page is what it means in detail, so that you do not have to take the sentence on faith.

Nothing is transmitted

The app makes no network requests of any kind. There is no server, no account, no login, no analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party SDK that sends anything anywhere.

Its reminders are not push notifications: they are scheduled locally by iOS on your device, which is why the app has no push entitlement and no device token exists for it.

Two open-source libraries are compiled into the app: Adhan, which does the prayer-time astronomy, and GRDB, which manages the local database. Neither is a service and neither has any network code in the paths the app uses.

You can check the whole claim without trusting me: use the app in Airplane Mode. It behaves identically, because there was never anything on the other end.

What is stored, and where

Your record (which prayers you prayed, when you answered, how each one was graded, what you made up later), along with your settings and the coordinates last used to calculate times, is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read that same file on the same device, and write to it when you answer from a widget.

That storage is not shared with me or with anyone else. There is no mechanism in the app to share it, which is a stronger guarantee than a promise not to.

Location

If you allow location access, it is used on your device to calculate prayer times for where you are, and for nothing else. It is never transmitted. The app asks only for while-in-use access, and approximate location is enough for it.

You can decline it entirely and set a city or coordinates by hand instead. The app works the same way.

Backups

Because your record is an ordinary file belonging to the app, it travels inside your own iPhone or iCloud backup, the same as every other app's data. That is Apple's backup, under your Apple Account and your encryption, not mine. I hold no copy of anything, anywhere, and there is nothing for me to hold.

What you can do with your record

Settings › Data & privacy exports the whole record as a CSV file you keep, and erases everything on the device permanently. Deleting the app also removes its data.

Since nothing is collected or transmitted, there is no copy of your data held anywhere else for you to request, correct or have deleted. Both of those buttons are the whole of it.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version appears at this address with a new date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because there are no addresses on file.
